Tigra

Description

In a sunlit house where dust mites dance in golden beams, Tigra reigns as a whirlwind of curiosity.  A Torbie kitten, her fur is a living kaleidoscope - swirls of burnt sienna, amber and onyx that shift hues in the afternoon light.  Ever inch of her is motion:  ears that swivel at the faintest crinkle of a bag, and eyes that glint with mischief.  One of Tigra's favorite things to do is "air biscuits."  Treats, though are her true currency.  Yet, even her love for food is eclipsed by her obsession with cottage's most peculiar treasure; the springs.  No, not the garden variety, but a wind-up toy with a coiled spring that skitters across the floor like a metal grasshopper.  She bats the spring into the air, watches it bounce, then pounces, with chirps and trills.  After all, what is life but a series of delightful pounces?
