Notes from foster: Meet Opportunity, She may also be the sweetest kitten in the litter.Opportunity doesn't simply tolerate people—she actively seeks them out. She'll sprint after her foster when she moves between rooms, sit beside her, climb across her, and happily hang out with her while she's sitting on the floor. She has been affectionate almost from the beginning and was the first kitten to lick her foster when the litter was still tiny.Opportunity has a particular fascination with her foster's feet and Crocs and will happily climb all over both. That's fitting because climbing in general is one of her favorite activities. Whether it's her foster, furniture, or especially the cat scratcher, Opportunity likes seeing what she can get on top of next.She and Curiosity (A1408859) are also the litter's enthusiastic explorers. When a new space becomes available, these two want to investigate it—and they'll happily sprint after their foster to find out where everyone is going.Opportunity has been handled continuously since approximately five days old and is exceptionally well socialized. She is comfortable being picked up, carried, repositioned, touched all over, and played with by human hands. She regularly rolls onto her back to expose her belly for play and belly rubs and can even comfortably sit on her foster's shoulder.She responds extremely well to visitors and strangers, is unfazed by household sounds such as the Roomba, washing machine, shower, running water, and fans, and is highly food motivated—especially for Churu.Opportunity is already showing strong lap-cat potential. Given the choice between being somewhere else and climbing onto, beside, or across her person, Opportunity tends to choose the person.She is especially close with Curiosity (A1408859).
