Meet Eevee! After being the absolute best mama to her three beautiful babies, this sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua mix is finally ready for her turn to be somebody’s baby!She is an absolute cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. Give her a cozy spot beside you and she’ll happily spend the day snuggled up, enjoying a lazy afternoon with her favorite humans. But don’t let her love of cuddles fool you—she still has plenty of puppy energy! She loves to run, play with toys, and with her dog friends. Her own puppies are still her little best friends, and she loves playing with them whenever she gets the chance. She does wonderfully with cats and other dogs her size, making her a great little companion for a home with furry siblings. She is also house trained, which makes settling into her new home that much easier!She can be a little timid around men she doesn’t know, but she has a sweet, gentle heart and warms up beautifully when given time. She does best with someone who understands that she needs to come to you on her own terms. If you’re patient and let her take the first step, she’ll reward you with the sweetest little friendship. After caring for her babies, she’s ready to put herself first and enjoy everything puppyhood has to offer. She’s looking for a family who will give her patience, cuddles, playtime, and, most importantly, a forever home where she can finally be someone’s baby. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
