Meet Jackson – A Handsome Shepherd Ready for Adventure Jackson is a 4-month-old German Shepherd mix who weighs 31 pounds and is one handsome boy. Like most German Shepherd puppies, he is smart, energetic, curious, and ready to be part of everything you do. Jackson is already showing off his intelligence and seems to know "sit." He's also very treat motivated, which should make training a fun and rewarding experience. As he grows, he'll need a family committed to keeping both his mind and body busy with exercise, training, play, and plenty of enrichment. Jackson is still a puppy, so he's looking for someone who understands that raising a young Shepherd takes patience, consistency, and guidance. In return, you're likely to get a loyal, intelligent companion who is eager to learn and grow alongside you. If you're ready for an active pup with a great brain, handsome looks, and plenty of personality, Jackson may be your guy. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
