Tux

Description

Tux was living with a family in a small town in rural Missouri.  One day, the family left their mobile home, locked the door with Tux and another kitty inside and never came back.  Fortunately, neighbors knew there were pets locked inside and took action to get them out.  One kitty made a run for it , but Tux ran under a shed in a nearby yard.  Feeders made sure he had access to food and soon realized how friendly Tux was.   Long story short, he is now with Heartland! He is very sweet, loves pets and chin scratches and will kiss your nose if you let him!  Tux is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and is currentl on vaccinations .  Although he shows no obvious signs, Tux has a heart condition that requires daily medication. We have had it compounded so it gets rubbed onto his inner ear. Tux would be a good only cat as he adores attention. He's kind of like a dog, comes when he's called, likes to lick his human, and chases balls. He would love to be an indoor kitty for the rest of his life ! If you are in a position to care for Tux, he would show you lifelong love and appreciation.
