Birdie is a female 1 year old Hound mix who weighs about 40 pounds, making her a smaller-sized companion for her breed. And while she may be petite, this sweet girl has a big heart full of love to share. Birdie has wonderful manners, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows the Sit command. All of that makes strolls with her leisurely and fun. She also seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, always ready to politely greet them through the fence. And if they are up for a fun run along the fenceline with her, so much the better! Birdie is eager to please, and all set to be the perfect companion for her person(s). So come meet this friendly, well-behaved pup soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
