She is an absolute sweetheart who loves attention, enjoys affection, happily accepts treats, and simply wants to be close to her people. She even patiently wore fun headbands for photos, showing off her gentle and easygoing personality.Blue Bell is currently heartworm positive and is suspected to have right-sided heart failure, so she would greatly benefit from a calm home where her medical needs can be monitored. Like many senior dogs, she also has age-related fatty masses and skin tags that are consistent with her age.Despite her challenges, Blue Bell continues to show how special she is. She has done well in playgroup, allowing greetings from other dogs, and is considered a social dog. While she may not be interested in toys yet, she may blossom even more once she is out of the shelter and in a comfortable home.Blue Bell deserves a peaceful retirement filled with love, comfort, and kindness.
