Meet Peanut Butter, the red-coated Chiweenie/Poodle mix! He’s just 3 months old and has the biggest personality packed into one tiny puppy! This little guy is curious, playful, and approaches each day like it's a brand-new adventure. He’s spent the past month in a loving foster home, where his foster family has adored watching Peanut Butter blossom (cookie pun—couldn’t resist!). Whether he's chewing on squeaky toys, racing around with puppy zoomies, or curling up in your lap, he knows how to make the most of every moment. Peanut Butter does well in the car and is currently working hard on house training and crate training. Like all other puppies his age, he'll need plenty of obedience training, lots of patience, and appropriate chew toys to keep him busy. He gets so excited to meet people that he sometimes forgets all four paws belong on the floor, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he's going to make the sweetest companion. His foster family has seen him interact well with other dogs (especially his littermate!), cats, and people. Peanut Butter and his sister were born to a beloved family dog whose owner simply wasn't able to keep the puppies. Now, he's searching for a fur-ever home that's as committed to training as they are loving him to bits—a family that's kind, patient and ready for all the puppy kisses! “It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!” Meet Jelly, the other half of the Sandwich Litter. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
