Hi!  My name is Chelsea and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and a couple of other chihuahuas were found abandoned in a church cemetary by a really nice couple who took us in and tried to find our owners.  After one could not be found, they adopted one of my friends and contacted a small local rescue about helping with me and my other friend, Charlee; a volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said yes!  While Charlee and me don't have to be adopted together as we have done good separated as well as together, if you're looking for two girls who get along we do.  I am about 2years old and weigh 9.50lbs so I shouldn't any bigger.  I am a little shy when I first meet new people but it doesn't take me long to learn you're not going to hurt me and then I love getting attention and being held.  I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I have met in foster and so far haven't bothered those things called cats.  I have done pretty good in my crate which I share with Charlee without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding; we even eat side-by-side without any issues.  I'm not too good on leash as I probably have never had one on in my entire life so a secured fenced yard would be great so I can take care of my business and explore.  I would also love to have a playmate that I can romp around with and help me learn the ropes.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
