JANIE JUST WEANED HER PUPPIES AND HAS NOT BEEN SPAYED YET. DUE TO THIS, SHE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTED OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15 IF SHE IS STILL AVAILABLE. Janie is an approximate one year old, 18 lb., possible Beagle/Dachshund mix. This little lady came from Oklahoma with her two tiny puppies (they are not yet ready for adoption) and has recently weaned them. She is a real sweetheart and so friendly. She does great with house training but may need some time to adjust to a new routine and environment. Janie walks well on a leash, does great with other dogs of all sizes, and has done well with a cat in her foster home. She recently met children of different ages at an event and did great. Janie would love another playful dog in her new home to keep her company. Janie loves toys and has a lot of energy. If you are looking for a fun loving, sweet, friendly girl then Janie is your girl!
