It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. MUFFIN was living in a bad are of Rialto, California. The woman who was caring for the feral cats was evicted and the new owners threaten to kill them. So we removed all of them. And when we trapped MUFFIN e realized she was ready to pop. So she had her babies. BACON, PANKCKE, WAFFLES and TOAST. Now they are ready for their REAL FAMILY! Meet BACON, a confident Maine Coon tabby mix kitten whose charming personality is as irresistible as his fluffy good looks. This social little guy has a wonderful way of making himself part of whatever is happening around him. If you are moving from one room to another, BACON is likely wondering where the party is and making sure he is right there with you. Confident and playful, BACON is a kitten who knows how to have a good time. Give him a laser pointer, and he is ready for an action-packed game of chase. Sparkle balls are another favorite, providing plenty of opportunities for him to pounce, bat, chase, and show off his impressive kitten moves. His playful spirit brings plenty of laughter and energy to the day, and there is never a dull moment when Bacon is nearby. But BACON's greatest talent may be his ability to make friends. SENIOR CATS are usually 8 years and older. He needs a cat YOUNG playmate ***************** BACON is an DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINECOON MIX. He is about 4 months old.  BACON is good with cats. In his foster home, he was around other kittens, older cats, dogs and kids. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below:  ****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA and INDUSTY ONLY. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. BACON is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $250 covers:  Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
