Meet Sky!Sky is a sweet and beautiful 5-year-old female red husky, ready to begin a big, beautiful, and fulfilling next chapter of her life. Having spent most of her time alone and indoors, she would love a home that would help her make up for lost time and adventures. She is also becoming more acclimated to being around people and dogs, but continues to make incredible progress every day. In just one week, she went from running away from her foster mom to wanting to snuggle up next to her on the couch.Sky’s eyes are as beautiful as the sky, and slightly cloudy. Her vision may be slightly impaired, but they still sparkle with love and excitement for her next walk & when she sees her favorite people.An ideal home for Sky would include a quiet and gentle home filled with love. Another calm and gentle dog in the home may be helpful in her navigating her surroundings & building confidence. She is currently in a home with 2 other huskies & has been thriving. She has low to moderate levels of energy, is continuing to make progress conditioning into shape, and is adjusting and learning to eat a proper and healthy diet.Sky is about 55 pounds and medium-sized in stature. She is spayed, housebroken, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, is friendly with dogs, and overall is very well-behaved.
