Description

Bruno is a male cat who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with significant eye disease requiring surgical intervention. Veterinary evaluation has determined that an enucleation (surgical removal of the affected eye) is needed to address his condition and improve his comfort and quality of life. This procedure requires specialized surgical care and appropriate post-operative monitoring and recovery support, which exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite his medical needs, Bruno is doing his best while receiving supportive care. He needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive prompt surgical evaluation, enucleation, and appropriate post-operative care to restore his comfort and allow him to heal.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
