Possum is in need of URGENT rescue.Possum is available for adoption and rescue.This dog has **grade 3 luxating patellas (kneecaps) in both hind limbs**. A luxating patella occurs when the kneecap slips out of its normal position, which can cause intermittent lameness, skipping while walking or running, discomfort, and may contribute to the development of arthritis over time.At this time, this condition is considered chronic. Some dogs with low grade (usually grade 1 or grade 2) are able to live comfortably with conservative management, while others (especially grade 3 or grade 4) may benefit from surgical correction depending on the severity of clinical signs, activity level, and progression of disease.
