Meet Otis! Otis is one of the two dogs taken in by OBHR from the hoarding situation posted the last few weeks. Imagine our surprise when we were told we were getting all females and Otis showed up! Otis is a beautiful boy who is very happy and playful! Because they came from such horrible conditions and their teeth were so horrendous, Otis had been given a dental when he was neutered, it is hard to judge their ages but he is guessed to be around 5 to 7 years old. He is a real sweetheart and is ready to begin his journey as a family pet who is loved and cherished! Otis is obviously good with other dogs, we have not yet cat tested him, and he will require a home with a fenced in yard. At the time of this post Otis was just sprung from the vet to a foster home in the Columbus area so more info will follow! His adoption fee is $300 and that will come nowhere near the cost of his vetting. Thank you!    Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address. Please understand we are all volunteers and will respond as soon as we can as we all have jobs and family obligations.
