Meet Flea – A Sweet Girl Waiting to Come Out of Her Shell Flea is a sweet 15-week-old kitten who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. She is a very shy girl and will need time, patience, and plenty of gentle encouragement to feel comfortable in her new home. Her foster family reported that after giving her some time to get adjusted, they have discovered a tender side hiding beneath her cautious exterior.When Flea feels safe, she enjoys being gently held like a little burrito and soaking up some pets. For now, she may feel most comfortable tucked away in a cozy hiding spot, quietly watching the world around her. With time, consistency, and positive socialization, she can continue to come out of her shell and become more comfortable letting people into her world.Flea would do best in a quiet home with someone who is willing to spend time building her confidence and let her progress at her own pace. A friendly, confident cat or kitten will also be an important part of her journey. Having a feline companion can help Flea feel more secure and teach her, little by little, that there is nothing to fear.Flea may not be the kitten who runs up to greet you right away, but that’s what makes her story so special. For the right family, earning Flea’s trust and watching her slowly come out of her shell could be an incredibly rewarding experience.
