Meet Luna who came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own, is one of the sweetest dogs here. Luna was covered in fleas and so itchy and uncomfortable when she came to us but she never showed anything but the need to been shown love. Luna loves to go on short walks and just lay around. She loves attention and while she will tolerate a bath, she would rather not. Luna's hair is still coming back in from her fleas infestation she had but with time she will have a nice coat again. Although a senior Luna is healthy just out of the puppy stage. She is good with dogs cats and kids. And lets be honest, a shelter is no place for any dog but especially for our senior dogs. They deserve a soft bed at night and a home that provides a soft, warm place to sleep. While we understand that the years you get with a senior dog a shorter, they are still worth it.
