Belle is a happy-go-lucky girl who brings fun wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a dog who is always ready for the next adventure, eager to make new friends, and never turns down a little extra attention, Belle is your girl! She absolutely adores people and believes affection is one of life’s greatest treasures. Belle previously lived as a beloved family dog and did wonderfully with children. She found herself at the shelter after her family grew and they no longer had the time or space she deserved. While that chapter has come to an end, we’re excited to help Belle find a forever home where she can once again be an important part of the family. Belle loves getting out and about. Whether it’s hopping in the car for a ride, joining you on an outdoor adventure, or simply exploring the neighborhood on a walk, she’s happiest when she’s included. As an active dog, she’ll thrive with regular exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to play. Her previous family shared that she can be a little rambunctious when she’s excited, but she responds very well to redirection and settles nicely with guidance. She’s also a well-mannered companion. Belle is potty trained, crate trained, and knows the cues “sit” and “kennel up.” She enjoys having a routine and has already built a wonderful foundation for her future family. Belle is incredibly social with other dogs and loves making new canine friends. She’s playful, friendly, and always ready for a game. Sometimes she gets so caught up having fun that she doesn’t realize when another dog is ready for a break, so she’d do best with a companion who enjoys an active play style and matches her enthusiasm. We’re always happy to provide a dog meet and greet before adoption if needed! Because of her excitement around smaller animals, Belle may not be the best fit for a home with small pets - this includes cats. Belle has so much love to give and is ready to share it with a family of her own. If you’re looking for an affectionate, adventurous companion who will happily tag along wherever life takes you before curling up for some well-earned scratches, Belle may be the perfect addition to your home!
