Meet Ghastly — a three‑month‑old kitten with a tender heart and a cautious spirit who’s slowly learning that people can be safe. He came in with his siblings, all of whom were extremely fearful. While his littermates chose the barn cat life, Ghastly has shown us little glimmers of bravery that tell a different story for him.He’s still shy and unsure, but every day he takes another small step forward. Food is his biggest motivator, and with patience, quiet moments, and gentle consistency, he’ll creep closer and show you that he does want connection — he just needs time to feel secure. He’s the kind of kitten who won’t be ready for cuddles right away, and that’s okay. He’s learning at his own pace, and he needs someone who understands that trust is something he’ll build slowly.Because of his age, Ghastly is comfortable around other cats and has been fine with dogs who are calm and respectful. Kids over 8 who can give him space and let him come to them would be a good fit.Ghastly is looking for a patient, understanding home — someone who can see past his fear and recognize the sweet, curious kitten underneath. With time, stability, and kindness, he’ll blossom into the companion he’s trying so hard to become.
