WATCH MY VIDEO...Some dogs deserve a second chance, and sweet Skai is hoping hers is just around the corner. This stunning 5 year old lilac Pit Bull mix recently thought she had found her forever home. Sadly, she was returned next day when the resident pets did not accept her. While that was heartbreaking, it is also a reminder of how important proper introductions are when bringing a new pet into the family. Giving animals the time and space they need to adjust can make all the difference. Skai is absolutely worth that patience. This beautiful girl may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and you'll discover an incredibly loving companion with so much affection to share. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She loves being close to her people, enjoys plenty of pets, and is happiest when she's surrounded by love. Skai is also a smart girl who listens well and already knows how to sit. She absolutely loves treats, making training both fun and rewarding, and she never says no to playtime with her favorite toys. Whether she's proudly showing off her good manners or carrying around a toy, Skai has a gentle charm that's impossible not to love. Her previous family shared that she does well with people, including children as young as one year old. She has also lived with other dogs, although as with every adoption, we always recommend a dog meet to help ensure everyone gets off to the best possible start. She has not been around cats. What Skai needs now is someone who understands that the best relationships are built with patience, kindness, and love. She has already experienced the disappointment of losing a home through no fault of her own, but she hasn't lost her hope. She still greets each day with a loving heart and the belief that her perfect family is out there.
