Adele

Foster or forever home wanted, meet Adele. Adele showed up at the Riverside shelter as a stray on July 5th, no doubt another 4th of July statistic. Sadly, she had no collar, tag or microchip that would help the shelter reunite her with her lost family and they never came looking for her.  A month in an overcrowded shelter is a miracle, but there she was. When she became urgent, we devised a plan and picked her up. Adele came to us on August 5th so all we know about her is the glowing reviews from shelter staff and volunteers.  During Adele's stay at the shelter, she was housed with different dogs and had no issues with any of them. A volunteer described her as being polite, feminine and patient.  Reminding her of a first-grade little girl sitting patiently just hoping she's doing everything right. She doesn't demand attention, she just sits and waits hoping someone will notice her. Adele is calm, affectionate and beautifully well behaved.  Since Adele is new to us, we are still getting to know her.
