Grizzley comes to us as an owner surrender under heart breaking circumstances when his family lost their home to a devastating fire and were no longer able to care for him. Losing both his home AND his family, this big sweet and GENTLE boy needs a fresh start and one that ends with... 'he lived happily ever after'! At just 1 year old, this adorable, Tosa/Mastiff mix is truly a doll-baby! He weighs 66.80 pounds and he is the epitome of a 'gentle giant' - he previously lived with another dog in the home and they did great together! We don't have information if there were children or a cat in his previous life and have no way to test for either. Since he has been here, he met a similar sized neutered male and he just lied down for his new friend to sniff him all over! He is still getting used to walking on a leash and he is really working on improving his skills! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats and have no way to test for this.
