Delilah is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!Delilah, an 11-month-old female, just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. She’s also super playful and can often be heard playing with some feather toys by herself. She’s interacted a little bit with my temporary resident cat (while both enclosed in the bedroom) and they got along fine. She was watchful and open to playing with him, but also seemed happy to be left alone. Play and pets are her reward currency. Loves toys. Play is the best way to bond with her and calm her anxiety, though she can get too excited and hiss if we’re playing too hard. She’s also indefatigable. Long sessions are best but not too intense. She’d be a TERRIFIC mouser. I love watching her play. She’s so happy and in her element. Loves gentle pets and scratches on the cheeks, chin, and nose. Seems to need a human present to fully relax. Likes to snuggle, but on her terms."
