Description
Queenie is a lovable girl that ended up in the shelter after her owner couldn't care for her anymore. She is a sweet girl that loves humans and also some independence. She is a great companion! Looking for a dog who is small enough to fit in your lap but has enough personality to fill the entire house? Meet this sweet 8-year-old Yorkie girl! ❤️ She’s a delightful little package with a few very important rules: Food is her love language. She LOVES food. Training? Treats. Making friends? Treats (but, not required). Existing? Thinks she deserves a treat. However, she needs to watch her weight as she's not the most active of ladies. She has a favorite lamb. It's her lamb; not your lamb. No touching the lamb. Expect squeaking. Lots of squeaking. Crate champion. She does wonderfully in her crate and, perhaps most impressively, keeps it clean. She doesn't bark or whine while crated. She just settles down and enjoys some quiet time. She seems potty trained. But, we haven't left her uncrated while we are out. Fashion is complicated. She is not a fan of things going over her head. This is not going to be a dress-uo dog. Clothing, costumes, or anything involving pulling something over her face/head is probably going to receive a firm "absolutely not." She has boundaries, and she would like them respected. ❤️ Well past the puppy chaos stage, this lady still has plenty of personality, playfulness, and affection to give. She is pretty typical "Yorkie" in that she can be nippy, if disrespected. But, she's not aggressive. She is very communicative. We are still learning her language. But, she could have whole conversations with someone willing to take the time to learn. Apply to meet this little lady and see if you're the human she's been waiting for!
