WyWi

Description

To understand WyWi you need to know her backstory. She was born into a small outdoor colony. The group was taken care of and fed by a gentleman who dearly loved them. They lived outdoors, but took shelter in the garage he left open for them when the weather was bad. He would sit in his lawn chair with the cats around him.  They came by every evening for special treats. Sadly, this kind man died young and quite suddenly. His family lives far away and are not in a position to take the cats. They canvassed the neighbors and none wanted the responsibility. His nephew is friends with one of our volunteers and asked if we could help. We trapped them and found a foster home for them. The foster has been working to acclimate them to house cat life. WyWi is a loving, friendly cat. In the few months we've cared for her she has made incredible progress, as you can see from the pictures. She still startles easily, and that may never entirely go away, but she clearly wants nothing more than your attention and affection. She's looking for a special human; understanding, patient, and willing to do the work to bring her to her full potential. If that describes you, consider making this lovely girl your new best friend.
