Panda Bear is a little survivor with a soft heart and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. Rescued from a field along a San Jose freeway, a harrowing experience for her and her rescuer. Once she experienced the comfort of indoor life, it was clear that while she was still acclimating to indoors she was ready for a home of her own.   Mostly black with dashing white streaks tucked under her arms and a patch of white on her chest, Panda Bear's unique, bold look offsets her sweet, gentle personality. She may feel safest hiding at first in new environments, but that is no so unusual for a kitty who is learning about new people. Soon she is leaning into pets, rubbing up against her people, and offering the quietest, most grateful purrs.   Panda Bear is already showing her fun, energetic side too! She loves to zoom around chasing springs and balls. She’s smart, curious, and highly food-motivated! She would do best with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, and who will give her the space and encouragement she needs to blossom.   Did you ever get a second chance when you needed it most?
