Nora the golden

Description

Hi!  My name is Nora and I am looking for a forever home.  I wandered up in the yard of some nice folks who tried and tried to find my owner but with no luck.  When my stray hold was up, they got in touch w/ a small local rescue asking for help who gave them the name and number of a volunteer with BCAA; when they contacted BCAA and asked if they could help me as their dogs were not tolerant of me, they said yes!  I appear to be a smaller golden retriever and the vet thinks I'm about 6 years old and I'm just a tad overweight at a little over 40lbs.  I am a typical golden in that I love anyone who will give me some attention.  While I've gotten along with the other dogs who are about my size, I'm not a fan of the smaller dogs as they tend to get into my face which I don't like; and when those cats run, boy they look like they would be fun to chase so a home without them would probably be best.  My ideal home would be one where I could possibly be your one and only so I can soak up some loving that it doesn't appear I have gotten much of and crave.  I'm not a fan of a crate but will go in one, and as long as I get to go out on a regular basis, I have done well (if I see or hear you, I will let you know not to forget about me).  If it was my choice, my favorite place to sleep would be a comfy chair or somewhere near you.  I'm good on leash and love going on walks with you which will be good in my quest to get my girlish figure back.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
