Description
Tulip – Apricot Doodle Mix, 3–4 years, 36 lbs. The spiritual meaning of a tulip is rebirth, hope, and unconditional love. As one of the first flowers to bloom in spring, tulips symbolize emerging from darkness into the light. We couldn't have chosen a more fitting name for this sweet girl. Meet Tulip, an adorable, affectionate girl with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. She's house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Her joyful zoomies will make you laugh, and she's wonderful with the other dogs in her foster home. Cats are unknown. Tulip's life wasn't always so bright. When she arrived at the shelter, she was in heartbreaking condition—filthy, painfully thin, covered in stickers, burrs, fleas, and ticks, with such severe matting that shelter staff couldn't even vaccinate her. She could barely walk or see until she received a much-needed medical shave. That's when her rebirth truly began, after Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno welcomed her into foster care. Today, Tulip is thriving. She's gaining healthy weight, her bones no longer protrude, and her happy personality shines through in everything she does. She loves to snuggle, would happily curl up in your lap, and is food motivated, making training a breeze. Tulip is looking for a forever family who will cherish her for the rest of her life—a home filled with kindness, patience, and love. She has overcome so much and is more than ready to leave her difficult past behind. She will require regular grooming as most dogs of this mix.
