Description
Meet Honey, a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart as sweet as her name! Weighing 46 pounds, Honey is a gentle, easygoing girl who is ready to find a family of her own. She may be a little shy in new situations, but once she feels safe, her affectionate, playful personality quickly shines through.Honey is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful manners. She walks nicely on a leash, loves lounging on the couch with her people, and enjoys showing off her evening zoomies with her canine friends. Tennis balls are her absolute favorite, and she is always eager to join in a game of fetch.Honey loves other dogs and truly thrives with a canine companion. She takes a little time to warm up to new dogs, but once she does, she's looking for a best friend. She would do best in a home with a friendly male dog or a confident female who can help her continue building confidence. She has done well with slow introductions to children and may do well with cats given proper introductions. Honey would also appreciate a home where someone is around for at least part of the day, as she enjoys companionship and being close to her family. When Honey first arrived in foster care, she needed a few quiet days to settle in, but once she realized she was safe, she blossomed into a loving, loyal companion. If you're looking for a sweet, well-mannered dog who will happily spend her days by your side, Honey may be the perfect match for you.If you are interested in Honey, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450.
