Meet Rosie – Our Brave Little Girl is available for adoption Rosie is an 11-year-old Yorkie with a gentle spirit and so much love to give. This sweet girl is blind, but don’t let that fool you—she navigates her world with trust, resilience, and a heart full of hope. When Rosie came to us, we discovered she was heartworm positive, and she has already begun the long road to recovery. Heartworm treatment is not easy, especially for a small senior like Rosie, but she is handling it like a true champion.  She has completed her treatments.   Interested in Adopting Rosie? She is located in Middlesex, and we do not transport dogs outside of the RDU area. Adopters must be local or willing to travel to meet and bring her home.
