Meet Bella! Some dogs have a presence that fills a room and Bella is one of them. This beautiful Rottweiler has come a long way since arriving in rescue after surviving a difficult situation. Today, she’s healthy, happy, and ready to leave her past behind for a family that will love her forever. Bella is the total package. She’s affectionate, incredibly loyal, and happiest when she’s with her people. She has a goofy, playful personality that will make you laugh, but she’s just as content curling up beside you for a quiet evening. If you’re looking for a dog that wants to be your best friend, shadow, and cuddle buddy all in one, Bella is your girl. She has been wonderful with children and has done fantastic with other dogs of all sizes. Whether it’s another large dog or a tiny 20-pound poodle bouncing around in her face, Bella is patient and gentle. She even seems to slip into “mom mode” with younger dogs, making sure everyone is okay. While Bella enjoys canine friends, she’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. She absolutely loves being the center of attention and honestly, she deserves it. Bella is crate trained, although she’d much rather skip the crate altogether. She’s been left loose in the house and has proven herself to be respectful and non-destructive.  Her dream home? Sleeping in bed with her humans, following them from room to room, and simply being part of the family. There are just a couple things her future family should know. Bella must be in a home without cats. She finds them much too exciting, and we’d never want to put her, or a cat, in that situation. She also isn’t winning any awards for leash manners! Bella is a powerful, determined girl, and when she decides she’d like to go somewhere, she has the strength to make her opinion known. Because of that, a securely fenced yard would be ideal so she can safely stretch her legs and play. We’d certainly consider a home without a fence if her adopter understands the commitment of managing a strong dog on leash and has a plan to keep her safe. Bella has overcome more than any dog should have to, yet she greets every day with love, joy, and an eagerness to trust again. Now all she needs is someone willing to give her the happy ending she’s been waiting for.
