  My name is Astra and I’m the star of my family! I love to cuddle pile with other kitties, so you’ll seldom see me sleeping alone. It’s the best thing ever when another kitty grooms me. The second best thing is playtime, I love to play! My favorite toys have feathers or remind me of bugs. My foster siblings are teaching me to hunt bugs, but I’m not very good at it yet. I like some pets, but I have a busy schedule and I sometimes forget to ask for them. I was found under a deck with my siblings, so I’m a little independent. I’ve spent enough time inside to know that I like the kittypet life, but I still have a bit of a potty mouth. When I’m not sure about something or mildly inconvenienced I sometimes hiss, but that’s just how I say “no thank you”. I’m getting more polite every day! I sometimes still find humans intimidating, so I need some time to adjust to new situations and environments. I’m looking for an adopter who’s willing to learn my language and help me open up. I must go to a home with another cat. I’d love to go home with my sibling Nova, but I’d be equally happy with another friendly cat that will groom, snuggle, and play with me. I’d be okay with a calm dog that mostly ignores me.  If you’re looking for a kitten that’s out of this world, submit an application today! Astra is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained. Astra 's adoption fee is $165.  Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
