Daisy (A142960) is a 1-year-old great Pyrenees who weighed almost 80 lbs at intake!07/31/26 This happy young lady is Daisy! Daisy was brought to the shelter due to no fault of her own. From the information that her previous owner left, it would appear that Daisy does not understand that she is a pyrenees. While most Pyrs are aloof and meant to live among and guard livestock, Daisy loves people and is eager to greet them. She also likes to chase chickens. Daisy has lived outside most of her life, so she will need some help with potty training and kennel training. She was said to do well with kids and other dogs. She does not have experience with other animals outside of dogs and chickens though. Please make sure any and all introductions are done in a slow and controlled manner. If you have chickens, please make sure their enclosure is secure and dog proof. Daisy has been known to dig.
