  Monroe Monroe is a gorgeous dilute calico with a personality that’s every bit as colorful as her beautiful coat. If there’s one thing you should know about Monroe, it’s that she takes snack time very seriously! The quickest way to her heart is with a tasty meal or a yummy treat, and she’ll happily remind you when she thinks it’s dinner time. When she’s not keeping an eye on the food bowl, Monroe is busy doing all the things kittens do best—playing, exploring, chasing toys, and making everyone smile with her silly antics. She’s been raised with a large group of kittens, so she’s never short on friends or fun. Monroe will need to go home with another playful kitten or join a family that already has a young feline companion. She’s had lots of practice making friends and would love to keep the fun going in her forever home. Raised in a foster home with numerous kittens and adult cats, they are well-socialized, confident, and accustomed to all the fun (and occasional chaos!) that comes with living in a busy feline family. We encourage you to consider adopting kittens in pairs!  There are several reasons why Monroe  would do good with a friend, including: -Two kittens keep each other entertained - they will play and get all their energy out on each other in time for snuggles with you! -Having two kittens to play with each other prevents "I'm lonely and bored" behavioral issues. -Watching two kittens wrestle is quite possibly the cutest thing you will ever see. -The kittens will teach each other "how to cat" and learn to be more social with humans and people. -You'll save two lives instead of one! Monroe is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, spayed , and litter box trained. Monroe 's adoption fee is $165.  Please note A.R.F. does not approve applications for any kitten under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
