Meet Rugar – a happy, handsome boy searching for his very own Yellow Brick Road to a forever home! For the past year, Rugar spent much of his life waiting in an outdoor kennel, quietly hoping his turn would come. Now he's finally front and center, and at just 15 months old and 48 pounds, he's more than ready to discover how wonderful life can be as a cherished family member. Rugar is a friendly, social guy who loves everyone he meets—both people and other dogs. Like any young pup, he could use a little polishing, but he's already off to a great start. He walks nicely on a leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is pretty well house-trained. We're not exactly sure what his breed mix is. Maybe a Doodle with a little Wheaten Terrier? Whatever the combination, one thing is certain—he is absolutely adorable with his shaggy good looks and sweet personality. Rugar doesn't need someone by his side every minute of the day. He's simply looking for a family who will welcome him into the home, let him relax nearby on a comfy dog bed, enjoy family time, and finally experience what it means to belong. A securely fenced yard is important so he has a safe place to play and explore. This sweet boy has a lot of living to catch up on, and he's ready for every adventure ahead. All he needs is someone who will love him, guide him, and help him follow his own Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City—a forever home filled with kindness, comfort, and love.
