About two years ago, Meeka and her potential sibling, Kemet, were rescued after being found living outside. Since then, they've been safe together in a home where they've formed an inseparable bond.Meeka is a gentle sweetheart who loves attention from her people. She's a big fan of pets, being held, and especially enjoys a good butt scratch! When she's feeling playful, you'll often find her batting around toys or wrestling with Kemet.Like many cats adjusting to change, Meeka may need a little time to settle into a new home. She can be a bit hissy when she's unsure of her surroundings, so a slow, patient introduction will help her build confidence and feel secure. Once she knows she's safe, her loving personality shines through.Because Meeka and Kemet have been together for the past two years and share a special bond, they are looking for a forever home where they can stay together. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
