About two years ago, Kemet and his potential sibling, Meeka, were rescued after being found living outside. Since then, they've shared a safe home together, creating a strong bond that has only grown over time.Kemet is a sweet, loving cat who enjoys being petted, held, and spending time with his people. He has a playful side, too, and loves chasing toys or playing with Meeka. While he may be a little shy when first meeting new people, his curiosity quickly takes over, and he's eager to explore his new surroundings at his own pace.As with any new environment, Kemet will benefit from a slow, patient introduction to help him feel comfortable and secure. With a little time and understanding, he'll settle in and show just how affectionate and easygoing he truly is.Kemet and Meeka are a bonded pair who have spent the last two years together and rely on each other for comfort and companionship. They're looking for a forever home where they can continue their journey side by side. If you're ready to open your heart to two wonderful cats, Kemet and Meeka will reward you with endless love, companionship, and plenty of playful moments.PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
