Cielo is an 11-month-old Shepherd mix weighing just 25 pounds, and she's the last of her litter still waiting for a forever home! She and her siblings were rescued from a tire shop, where they were struggling to survive. One by one, every one of her brothers and sisters was adopted. Now Cielo is patiently waiting, wondering when it will be her turn! Cielo is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn't take long to discover a sweet, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side. She already has wonderful house manners. She's doing great with house-training, she is comfortable in a crate, walks nicely on a leash, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. She's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much—just a safe home, a little patience, and someone to love her. At only 25 pounds, Cielo is the perfect medium-sized companion for someone looking for a loyal best friend. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, she'll be happiest simply spending time with you. After watching all of her siblings leave for their new lives, we would love nothing more than for Cielo to finally get the happy ending she deserves. Cielo will arrive in Albion, NY at the end of August and we would love to have a family waiting for her! Please note: All dogs are rescues, so we often do not know their actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested (if age appropriate), put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
