Adoption fee: $750 Laundry: A Clean Bundle of Joy Ready to Freshen Up Your Life Meet Laundry, a 3–4 year old, 10 lb CKC Spaniel mix who is basically sunshine incarnate. With her fabulous personality, happy-go-lucky attitude, and adorable charm, Laundry has a way of making every day feel a little brighter. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just join your family — she happily jumps right into the middle of it! Laundry wakes up ready to tackle the day (especially when her alarm goes off at 6:00 a.m.!). After a quick potty break outside, she’s ready for breakfast, playtime, and whatever adventures are on the schedule. She does best with a little encouragement during potty breaks because she’s easily distracted by the important things in life — like playtime, belly rubs, and spending time with her people. After breakfast, she enjoys a lively play session with her resident dog friend and shows off her excellent play manners. Once she gets her morning energy out, Laundry settles beautifully into a routine. She hangs out on the floor in her foster’s home office while they work, happily keeping her people company without needing constant attention. She enjoys afternoon walks, evening play sessions, and then curls up in her cozy crate around bedtime, where she sleeps peacefully with her blanket-covered “den” making it extra comfortable. Laundry is a low-shedding pup with a big personality. She’s a fluffy little ball of happiness who approaches life with enthusiasm. She’s a bit of a Velcro dog — she loves being near her people and knowing what everyone is up to — but she isn’t the type who has to be glued to your lap. She’s perfectly content relaxing nearby, joining in family activities, or curling up for some quality cuddle time. This little lady has the perfect balance of playful and affectionate. She loves chasing squeaky toys, playing tug-of-war, and having fun with her humans and dog friends. But when playtime is over, Laundry knows how to relax. She enjoys lounging on the couch, stretching out on a comfy bed, or showing off her impressive “sploot” skills on a cool floor. She’s just as happy joining the family for a movie night as she is racing around the house with a favorite toy. Laundry has been a wonderful companion to her foster’s small dog and has enjoyed playing with their five-year-old child. She loves the attention, playtime, and even getting her fluffy coat brushed by her little buddy. She has shown no resource guarding with people, dogs, or children. She has been curious about the resident cats and would love to play with them, but since the cats are less interested in making new friends, they have been kept separated. She might be an option for a more outgoing and playful cat who loves doggy friends! When it comes to walks, Laundry is very enthusiastic! She knows where the leashes are kept and will happily remind you when it’s time to head out. She’s a little power walker who enjoys moving at a brisk pace and taking in the world around her. She hasn’t shown interest in chasing things on walks, although backyard birds definitely catch her attention. Laundry has made wonderful progress with her housetraining as she has settled into her foster home. She came in needing some guidance and consistency, and she has learned quickly. She is now using her potty pads much more consistently and is also learning from her dog friend by following them outside. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, she simply needed patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. Laundry does best when given appropriate outlets for her playful energy. She enjoys chewing, especially when she’s bored, so having safe chews available is important. Laundry’s dream home is one where she can truly be part of the family. She would thrive with a household that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. A family with children or another friendly dog would likely be a wonderful match for her. Her adopters should be ready to continue her housetraining routine with patience and consistency, because she has already shown how much she can learn when given the right support. The best thing about Laundry is her contagious enthusiasm. She has a special talent for making everyone around her smile. Her foster’s favorite moment is watching Laundry and their five-year-old race zoomies around the dining room table together until they’re both exhausted — followed by Laundry happily flopping down for cuddles and letting him brush her fluffy coat. Laundry isn’t just cute (although she definitely is!). She’s playful, affectionate, silly, and eager to be included in every part of family life. If you’re looking for a little companion with a big heart and a personality that will keep you smiling, Laundry might just be the perfect match.
