Description

Meet Tipper! Some kittens have nine lives... Tipper just decided she only needed three legs to live every single one of them to the fullest. At just 5 months old, this adorable gray tabby has already overcome more than most animals ever should. She arrived at the shelter with a devastating leg injury caused by an unknown trauma. The damage was so severe that the kindest way to end her pain was an emergency amputation. But if you think Tipper lets that define her... think again. The moment she recovered from surgery in her foster home, she popped up, took off exploring, and never looked back. She runs, climbs, wrestles, zooms, chases toys, and launches surprise kitten attacks just like any other youngster—except her signature three-legged bounce adds an extra level of comedy that will have you laughing every day.Tipper is the definition of a social butterfly. She races to greet you when you come home, happily accepts attention from anyone willing to hand out pets, and has never met a stranger she didn't think could become her new best friend. She's done wonderfully with other cats, gets along great with dogs, and absolutely adores people.Let's clear something up: Tipper is not considered a special needs kitten. She doesn't sit around feeling sorry for herself, and you shouldn't either! She has no idea she's missing a leg and certainly doesn't expect anyone else to treat her differently. She keeps up with the other cats, wins wrestling matches, and has mastered the art of turning ordinary kitten antics into Olympic-level entertainment. If you're looking for a kitten with personality, endless affection, and enough goofy tri-pod shenanigans to brighten even the toughest days, Tipper is ready to hop right into your heart. All she asks is for a family that will love her exactly as she is and enjoy a lifetime of laughter with one extraordinary little kitten who's living proof that sometimes the best things in life come in threes. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
