Dude's story began in heartbreaking circumstances. He was found living in a pile of wood and debris at an abandoned house, doing his best to survive on his own. It didn't take long after he arrived in rescue to realize that Dude had once known the comfort of a home and the love of a family. Despite everything he's been through, Dude has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. He has a calm, loving nature and simply wants a safe place to call home again. Whether he's enjoying a quiet nap, soaking up gentle pets, or keeping you company, Dude is happiest when he's with people who care about him.
