ALEXANDER THE GREAT (ALEX) has quite the story. He was roaming the streets of Woodsfield when a kind person saw him and stopped to help. He was in terrible shape. His hair was falling out and his skin had scabs all over him and severely underweight. Even in that condition he never stopped being a loving and sweet boy. We were very concerned about what it could be and the best case scenario happened. It turns out that he is very highly allergic to fleas and once given flea and tick medicine along with some antibiotics and ear medicine he is a brand new boy! His skin is healing, looking and feeling smoother. His hair will eventually grow back. He is also a very chunky boy now and still just as affectionate and loves to rub his head on you if you are holding him. HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO FLEAS MUST BE GIVEN AND STAY UP TO DATE ON FLEA MEDICINE AND STAY INSIDE. ESPECIALLY, IF YOU HAVE OTHER PETS THAT GO IN AND OUT.
