BIO Hello! My name is Indigo. I will be available for adoption at the end of August when my heartworm treatment is complete. I am house trained and crate trained. You do not need to crate me when you cannot supervise me. I am a mature guy and won’t get into trouble. I will sit and wait for you to come home. I love everyone I meet. When I really like someone, I get excited and bunny hop. I am gentle and love to be close to you. I have met a lot of different dogs. I am friendly to them, but I don’t really know how to play. Foster mom is trying to teach me how to play. I like Benebones and Chuck-it balls. I don’t know how to play fetch, but maybe you could teach me. I absolutely love cats, especially this little kitten here. I don’t mind going for rides in the car. I walk well on leash. I am food motivated so that helps with learning commands.I would like to find a laid-back family that likes to take walks around the neighborhood. Perhaps a home that doesn’t have a lot of stairs inside as I am still trying to figure those things out. Someone that has patience to continue teaching me commands and how to play would be great. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
