Slate is a 6 month male Lab mix with a sweet, friendly personality that's sure to win your heart. He may be a little shy at first, but true to his Lab nature, it doesn't take long for his lovable side to shine. Slate loves greeting his human friends, and has an endearing way of happily doing a Sit to get your affection. This eager-to-please pup is already off to a great start, and would love to keep learning new commands with his forever family. At six months old, Slate is at that wonderful age where he's ready to learn, bond, and grow into a loyal lifelong companion. All Slate needs now is a family to believe in him and give him the love he's been waiting for. Come meet this sweet boy soon, and take home your new best buddy.  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
