Winston is a gentle, steady presence who finds joy in the simple things—quiet walks where he can take in new scents, soft blankets on chilly days, and sharing space with someone who enjoys a slower pace. He has a sweet, teddy-bear kind of personality and brings a calm warmth wherever he goes. Winston need some time to get familiar with new friends, especially since his world is dimmed by cataracts. But with kind words and a few treats, he opens up quickly. He walks nicely on leash and prefers to take things at his own comfortable speed. While he’s an older gentleman, that’s just one small part of who he is. What really defines Winston is his softness, his contentment, and how much he enjoys being close to his person.
