Description

Marcus and Maisey are a sweet 2-year-old brother/sister duo who are looking for their forever home together!Marcus and Maisey’s day usually consists of lounging around or exploring new corners of the house together. Although they are low energy for the most part, they do have bursts of energy sometimes and enjoy wrestling together, chasing each other, and batting around toys. They do a great job at keeping each other entertained, and are also easily amused by any type of toy (especially automated ones).Maisey is the grey long-hair sister of the duo, and being the big sister she is also the extrovert of the team. She loves following her humans around and asking for affection and attention. She will communicate with you via light chirping, but may opt to simply shove her head into your hands to get all the pets and scratches she wants. Maisey is also very smart and quickly picks up new tricks and routines!Marcus, the brown tabby of the pair, is the shy but sweet younger brother. He may be nervous at first, but has never shown aggressive behaviors even if he was scared. Marcus is very good natured and your gentle patience will be well rewarded! Once comfortable, Marcus will gladly enjoy gentle petting and light scratches on the head and neck. He may even attempt to override his anxiety for a Churu treat! That being said, these siblings are huge foodies – Maisey will run if he hears the sound of anything similar to a treat. Marcus and Maisey are extremely bonded and do everything together. You can often find them cuddling in the same basket or sleeping on top of one another. They do not have separation anxiety when their humans are away, but they do when it comes to each other. If they are separated from each other for too long, they will become stressed and even refuse to eat. Above all, the most important thing to these two are each other. Marcus and Maisey live together with 3 adults in a 2 bedroom apartment. They have not been exposed to dogs or children yet. Their ideal home would be a clean, stable environment where they feel both loved and safe. Both of them enjoy being pet and like to observe what you’re doing. They aren’t clingy, but they like being close by and would prefer being allowed to sleep in the same room as you. If you’re looking for a sweet brother/sister duo, Marcus and Maisey just may be the pair for you!— — —There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
