We’re Appa and Little, and we’ve been together through life’s changes. When our previous owner could no longer care for us, we found ourselves looking for a new beginning. We’ve always had each other, and we’re hoping our next chapter is one we get to share too. That’s why we’re looking for a home where we can stay together forever. I’m Appa, the big guy—the extra-large black cat with an even bigger heart. I’m 8 years old, quiet, playful, and a little shy when we first meet. New situations can make me feel timid, so I need someone who understands that trust takes time. Once I feel safe, I really enjoy being brushed—it’s one of my favorite ways to relax. I’m not a fan of being picked up, but I’m happy to show my affection in my own quiet way. And I’m Little, a 5-year-old gray tabby with a gentle soul. I can be shy at first too, but once I know you’re kind, I’m incredibly loving. I adore being petted and will happily soak up all the gentle attention you’re willing to give. We’re both sweet, quiet boys who would love a peaceful home where we can blossom at our own pace. We’re good with other cats and respectful older children, but dogs aren’t really our thing. If you’re looking for not one, but two loyal best friends, we promise we’re worth the patience. All we need is a little time, a lot of love, and the chance to stay together—just as we’ve always been.    If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
