Druzy (aka Melon)

Description

Druzy is a stunning mostly-black male with just a splash of white and a lot of personality. This boy successfully fought a tough eye infection which left him with a tiny bit of scarring on one eye, but it doesn't affect him at all! He may be a little shy with people, but don’t let that fool you; give Druzy a tiny bit of time and he’ll be your BFF for life. He adores sunbathing on the cat tree, indulging in wet food, and climbing onto any shelf he can (even if he doesn't totally fit). He has tons of energy, and for such a big boy, who can blame him? Druzy will spend hours running on a cat wheel or hunting bugs when out on a walk. He will even make the most dramatic little chirps to grab when he wants some attention, usually in the form of a wand toy or spring.He must be adopted with another cat, preferably male, who he can run around with and  continue to grow his confidence. One very cool thing about Druzy is that he LOVES to climb! He spends almost every minute of the day six feet in the air on a shelf or cat tree just keeping his bright amber eyes on everything. While he isn't the snuggliest of kitties, Druzy is extremely demanding when it comes to food and attention from his foster, and even from the other kitties! At only a year old, Druzy is looking forward to a life of adventure and love with a furever family. With his cautious behavior, he requires a calm home, potentially with older or respectful kids and more of a suburban vibe than that of the busy city.
