Meet Lafayette! Some cats have a way of finding their people. Lafayette makes sure they find him! The moment he sees you, he’ll greet you with happy little meows, asking for what he loves most: your attention. A few gentle head scratches are all it takes to set his purr motor rumbling. This handsome young orange tabby hasn’t had an easy start. He was recently rescued from a bad situation where he wasn’t receiving the care every cat deserves. Thankfully, a Forgotten Cats volunteer brought him to safety, and now Lafayette is ready to leave his past behind and discover what it means to be truly loved. Lafayette is incredibly affectionate and thrives on human companionship. He’s a sweet, social boy who loves “talking” to his people, whether he’s welcoming you home or politely reminding you that it’s time for another cuddle. His charming personality is matched only by his gorgeous buff-orange tabby coat and warm, expressive eyes. He also seems to do well with other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a home looking for a friendly feline companion. Lafayette has already proven that his heart is full of love despite everything he’s been through. Now all he needs is someone to share that love with forever.
