Mickey is still a puppy, which means he's looking for a family committed to helping him continue growing into the incredible dog he's meant to be. Doggy Daycare! He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a doggy best friend! His other favorite place? The agility course! Mickey loves to run and play there!    Because Mickey is a herding breed mix, he does use his mouthing as a way to communicate when he gets excited. It's a normal instinctive behavior that lacks aggression and does not cause injury, but because of this he'd do best with older children who understand his breed tendencies.   Mickey also appreciates a little patience when meeting new people. Slow introductions help him build confidence, and once he realizes you're a friend, his sweet, affectionate personality shines!    He's crate trained, keeps his crate clean, and is working hard on potty training. He loves being outside, is always ready for his next adventure, and would thrive with a family who enjoys staying active. Mickey has lived with cats, but he thinks everyone wants to play as much as he does, so he may be a little too enthusiastic for cats who prefer their personal space.   More than anything, Mickey is looking for a family who is ready to make a lifetime commitment.
